Cyberboard R4 mang đến sự thay đổi lớn về cơ chế mounting - leaf spring. Mạch cũng hỗ trợ chuẩn kết nối không dây mới 2.4ghz , mặc dù chưa hoàn toàn sẵn sàng để có thể sử dụng ngay. Theo công bố của hãng thì receiver sẽ được bán rời và cần thêm bản cập nhật phần mềm thì sẽ sử dụng được mode 2.4ghz tương tự Black Diamond.

• 4G hardware support (software support will be released together with the 2.4G receiver that will be available for separate purchase in the future).
• Improved internals, including a new PET film, an IXPE 8 switch pad and Poron pads, making it the best sounding CYBERBOARD yet.
• Brand new AM Icy Silver Pro switches are included in the Bundle.

Connectivity

• Tri-mode ready: low latency 2.4G hardware support built-in, to be enabled through a software update. An additional 2.4G receiver will be provided in the future as well.
• Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C wired connectivity are available out of the box and support seamless automatic switching.
• Wireless charging using the Qi protocol. Works great in combination with CYBERMAT.

Craftsmanship

• The keyboard case is CNC-machined from 6063 aluminum alloy.
• Hotswap PCB allows users to change switches at will.
• In-switch RGB support (can be customized using AM Master).
• Upgraded internals for a better sounding keyboard. Upgrades include a PET film, an IXPE 8 switch pad and Poron pads.
• POM plate with cutouts for a more elastic typing feel.
• Poron foam is placed at the bottom to minimize vibration and hollow sound.
